Hey Guys. I think that we should all meet at least once every two weeks for breakfast somewhere on the Northern Beaches to build some camaraderie, especially while there is no wind.

I made many surfboards as a young guy. More art than science. Get a good book from the library and I can offer plenty of advice.

Also, there is a guy in Miranda who makes surfboards using balsa instead of foam. Should be strong and light. http://www.balsasurfboardsriley.com/

He can give a lot of help, supplies and tips.

If your looking for material there's a company in the super yacht yard in Rozell called MarineWare that sell pretty much everything and there's always Shapers Australia as well.
